Heat United Soccer Club (HUSC) values the privacy of its players, parents, and members. We do not request from parents more information than is required to for registering an individual to play in an IYSA sanctioned league, or for completing fee payments. We do not request from members more information than is required for registering with an IYSA sanctioned league, or for conducting a background check in compliance with the Kidsafe policy.

Heat United SC does not share, sell, or disclose any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) beyond what is required for players and members to participate in sanctioned IYSA leagues and for the operation of the Heat United Soccer Club. We never knowingly request or post any Personal Identifiable Information from anyone under the age of 13 without parental consent in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”).

Our website can be visited without providing any personal information. Our website does not automatically collect any personal information, does not identify your personal Email address, and does not utilize cookies! -- What are cookies? A "cookie" is a small line of text that is sent to and stored within your browser when you visit a cookie-enabled website. A cookie may contain information that is used to track the pages of site you’ve visited, etc.

Club Member PPI on the Website:

Board Members, Officers, Committee Chairs, Coaches, and Trainer, by virtue of accepting the position have consented to have contact information (phone number(s) and/or Email address) posted on the website. However, HUSC will NOT post a female member’s phone number(s) or Email address on the website without prior approval.

The Heat United website contains links to other sites. We make every effort only to link to websites that share our standards of privacy and decency. We try our best to ensure that these links are safe for children, but the privacy and data collection practices on any linked websites are separate from Heat United and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Children should always check with a parent, guardian or other adult before linking to any new sites.

Player Pictures:

While Heat United may post player pictures on the website as part of team, or game action picture, individuals shall not be identified by name.

Changes and Updates to the Privacy Policy:

Heat United reserves the right to change the website content, features, policies, disclosures and disclaimers at any time. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on our website. This policy is effective as of June 1st, 2009 and applies to all Personal Identifiable Information (PII) that is provided to Heat United Soccer Club.
