George Mihalopoulos

Director of Coaching/ Coach U16 Girls Black, U16 Boys, U8 Academy

Coach Mihalopoulos has 13 years of experience in youth soccer, coaching in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and running Sphere Soccer, a soccer consulting company.

In addition Coach George has ten years of collegiate coaching experience, 5 years at Dominican University as an assistant (1998-2000, 2005-2008) and 4 year at neighborhood rival Concordia University Chicago as Head Men's and Women's Soccer coach (2001-2004).

George holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "A" License, a USSF National Youth License, is a NSCAA and USSF Coachesnet member, and is an Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) Coaching Instructor and an ODP Staff Coach.

Brian Fairwood

Coach Brian holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "E" License and a A.C.E.P. Certification.

Kevin Talbot

Coach U12 Boys, U15 Girls and Sparks program

Coach KT has over 13 years of youth soccer coaching experience, coaching with KUFC (2005-2007), Chicago United FC (2003-2005), and Schaumburg Soccer Club (1998-2003). He has been with the club since 2007. Coach KT was also the Harper College assistant women's coach 2003-2006.

He holds a "D" license with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), a National Youth Diploma, and National Diploma with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Rick Ceh

Coach U11 Girls and U13 Girls

Coach Rick has 10 years of coaching experience, is the 2006 and 2010 Huntley area Coach of the Year.

Jon Turkington

Coach U10 Boys

Coach Jon played high school soccer at O’Fallon Township High School and college soccer at Eastern Illinois University. Since 2005, Jon has coached his kid’s soccer teams through the Huntley Park District and has been a finalists for the Huntley area Coach of the Year.

Jon holds a "D" license with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).

Basilio Salazar

Coach U14 Boys and U8 Academy

Coach Basilio played at Judson College and in the Philippines, Germany and Austria.
He has coached all ages of players from U5 thru High School. Basilio has coached high school soccer at Dundee-Crown High School and at Northland Pines (WI.). Basilio is entering his second year with Heat United.

Coach Basilio currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "D" License.

John O'Donnell

Coach U13 Boys

Coach John's soccer background includes experience as a player; referee; rec and travel team coach. He has played competitive soccer for over 20 years.

Coach John has coached championship travel teams ages U8 to U14 in the Northern Illinois Soccer League; Sportsplex St. Charles Indoor League; the Morris County Youth Soccer League and the Jersey Hills Youth Soccer League. John has coached a number of rec and travel teams at ALITHSA as well as serving as their Travel Director.

Coach John became a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) licensed referee in 1988. In addition to USSF youth modules, he holds a USSF national "D" coaching license.

Dwayne Cruz

Coach U14 Girls and U9 Team

Coach Dwayne has been the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Harper College since 2000. Since 2000 the program has twice participated in the NJCAA Tournament(2002,2010), Nationally ranked during 5 different seasons, and produced 40 All-N4C Conference Award Winners. He was also the Region IV Division III Coach of the Year honors for the 2010 season.

He was the KUFC Premier DOC from 2003-2009 and Wheeling High Asst. Coach from 1993-1999 and 2007-Present.

Coach Dwayne currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "D" License, NSCA Youth License, USSF Youth License, and is a member of NSCAA and USSFCA.

Leslie Ferguson

Coach U10 Girls and U13 Girls Red

Coach Leslie is the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Waubonsee Community College. She was an Honorable Mention NCCAA All-American at Judson College as one of Judson's co-captains in 1999, when the team placed eighth in the nation.

She played high school soccer at Jacobs High School in Algonquin, where she also coached freshman girls (2004) and JV (2005), before moving to South Elgin High School as assistant varsity coach (2007-2008).

Coach Leslie currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "D" License.

Dan Klaus

Coach U16 Girls Red

Coach Dan played high school soccer at Conant High School and Harper College, and then with Elk Grove Arsenal men's team. Dan is presently the Varsity Girls Coach at Elk Grove High School (since 2002) and Assistant boy's coach at Elk Grove High (since 2006). He was previously Assistant boy's coach at Conant High School (2002-2005) and Assistant boys and girls coach at Elk Grove HS (1995-1997).

Coach Dan currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "D" License.

Tim Killen

Coach U8 Academy and U9 Teams

Coach Tim played travel soccer with Chicago Pegasus Travel Soccer Club where he was an IL State Champion in 1990, high school soccer at Conant High School, and collegiately at the NJCAA National Finals twice with the College of Dupage. He has been coaching youth soccer for the past 5 years and has been with HUSC for the last couple years with the Sparks and Academy Program.

Coach Tim currently holds an "E" license with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), USSF Youth Module certifications for U8-U10 and coaching certification with the Positive Coaching Alliance.
