Club Information

Heat United Soccer Club is a competitive travel soccer club committed to helping young players improve their skills, stamina, teamwork and  enjoyment of the great game of soccer.

All Heat United teams work with a professional trainer and USSF certified / licensed coaches. The goal of these men and women is to ensure that the players learn the game thoroughly, from the ground up and are prepared to continue progressing through to advanced levels of competition.

The Heat United Soccer Club is a member of the IWSL (Illinois Women's Soccer League), the YSSL (Young Sportsman Soccer League), and the NISL (Northern Illinois Soccer League). We comply within the KIDSAFE guidelines. All of our coaches are certified through the IYSA (Illinois Youth Soccer Association) and are dedicated to developing the overall soccer player.

Life lessons in team spirit, fair play and competition are forged through playing soccer, but  the most important reward is the friendships that are made.

Philosophy

Our mission is to provide a positive, competitive youth soccer experience for player, parent and coach. We emphasize long-term player development of physical, emotional and social skills. We believe a positive team sport experience will promote a youth's self-confidence and self-esteem beyond the soccer field.

We emphasize individual skill development, teamwork, game concepts and sportsmanship. We try to provide a healthy perspective on both winning and losing. We believe players, parents and coaches will learn more from a competitive 3–2 loss than a non-competitive 7–0 win. Success is defined by improvement, effort, competitive spirit and team play.

History

Huntley Heat Travel Soccer Association and Dundee United Futbol Club merged on June 1st, 2009 to form Heat United Soccer Club for the 2009-2010 soccer year. Joining the two developmental travel soccer programs enables to new club to better provide a positive, competitive soccer experience for the area’s youth. There are multiple youth soccer clubs in northern Kane, northeast DeKalb, and southern McHenry counties, all competing for the area’s youth soccer players. By combining programs we will have a larger pool of players to better form viable teams, better match skill levels, and offer soccer opportunities to more players.
