HUSC is committed to helping young players improve their skills, stamina, teamwork and enjoyment of the great game of soccer. The goal is to ensure that the players learn the game thoroughly, from the ground up, and are prepared to continue progressing through to advanced levels of competition.

All HUSC teams work with a professional trainer and USSF certified / licensed coaches. HUSC is affiliated with IYSA (Illinois Youth Soccer Association) and the IWSL (Illinois Women’s Soccer League).

Please arrive 1/2 hour early for warm-up and to turn in your completed registration forms (forms will be available at registration, but we strongly encourage you fill them out ahead of time). Players should attempt to make both of the two tryout dates!

Participants should bring proper soccer equipment including shin guards, water bottle and inflated soccer ball. Note: All players need to participate in one of the two tryout dates for proper placement.

  • All players must participate in the tryout process and receive an evaluation to be eligible for a travel team roster spot.
  • Returning players are not guaranteed a roster spot on the rising age group team. They too must participate in the tryout process to be eligible for the travel team roster.
  • Heat United does not favor any one high school in the selection of players.
  • The intent of the open tryout process is to roster the best players available in each age group to form the best teams possible. Travel teams are selected for a seasonal year.

Heat United adheres to all Illinois State Youth Soccer Association guidelines and the policies of the leagues in which our teams participate. Supplemental tryouts may be held as needed and approved by the Heat United President and Heat United Director Of Coaching to fill vacant roster spots.
